Release Train Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Release Train Engineer.

Position type: Full time, Contract
Duration: 12+ months
Location: 3 days onsite in a week in Charlotte, NC

As a Release Train Engineer you will:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and the value delivered by a smaller Agile Release Train (ART) and is focused on serving the needs of the train to drive performance and growth. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating the ART ceremonies, managing dependencies across teams in the ART, and providing visibility into the health of epic/feature delivery and the overall program increment.

This role ensures impediments to epic/feature delivery are resolved quickly and protects the teams from outside disruptions to delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• PI planning facilitation.

• Effective stakeholder management

• Proficiency in Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) and Horizon CI/CD Tools

Required Skills

• Coach and guide ART teams on Scrum practices and Agile principles

• Establish and uphold ART norms, agreements, and ways of working

• Facilitate ART ceremonies, system demos, and retrospectives

• Partner with Product Management to maintain a healthy program backlog

• Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across the ART

• Enable strong communication, collaboration, and PI commitment delivery

• Provide status reporting on plans, timelines, risks, and delivery to stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with enterprise change management and technology policies

• Measure and improve ART performance, maturity, and delivery outcomes

• Support funding, resourcing decisions, and mentor Scrum Masters

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $90 - $95 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
