Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Courtland Terrace

Overview

Job Summary:

To conduct general activity programs and assist in implementing specific treatment/patient care programs for patients and patient groups following initial evaluation by the Occupational Therapist.

• Training:
  Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a recognized college or university.
• Must have a NC license or a NC provisional license. The provisional license will be accepted until the state boards are taken and the results are known.
• No prior work experience required.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy terminology, procedures and techniques.
• Considerable skill in performing occupational therapy procedures.
• Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel.
• Judgment is required in working with patients and performing treatments.
