Job Description:

Join our team as a Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Companion Sitter, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Support clients with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Monitor and manage client medications as directed, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
  • Offer companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and social engagement to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and reports, in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and the management team to develop and implement personalized care plans for clients.
  • Ensure the dignity and respect of all clients, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a relevant field (CNA, PCA, HHA) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to caregiving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift, move, or assist clients following safe handling practices.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are highly desirable.
