💰 $17.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential

Freedom Detox, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a Full-Time Evening and Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to join our dedicated team in Gastonia, NC. This direct care role is essential in supporting clients through detox and recovery in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment.

• Complete intake process for new clients entering the program
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
• Observe and document client self-administration of medications as applicable
• Provide client transportation and supervise during transport
• Support treatment goals by following individualized care plans
• Monitor client activities and provide crisis intervention when needed
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Assist with dietary needs and coordination of daily activities
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics
• Complete required trainings and certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in crisis situations
• Knowledge of federal/state standards and compliance guidelines a plus

• Competitive pay: $17/hour + $1.50 overnight differential
