Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract)
Location (City, State): Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday–Thursday)
Pay: $25–$28 per hour
Benefits: This position may be eligible for health, dental, vision, insurance, and 401(K).
Contract (30-90 days)
Job Description:The Accounts Payable Specialist will support day-to-day AP operations, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volume.
Key Responsibilities:- Process high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Enter invoices into the ERP system within established timelines
- Review invoice approvals and validate accuracy prior to payment
- Prepare payment registers and submit for management approval
- Execute vendor payments via check, ACH, and credit card
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies and setup issues
- Assist with 1099 reporting and escheatment-related tasks
- Support monthly rebate processing activities
- Prepare reports and analysis related to invoice processing and AP workload
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong understanding of invoice processing and payment workflows
- Experience working in a deadline-driven AP environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday & Friday
