New Season Treatment Centers, a leading national health care service provider, has been serving as a trusted outpatient treatment center specializing in safe, high-quality care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) for over 30 years.
We are seeking a qualified Counseling Professional (Counselor‑3) to join our multi‑state team, providing medication‑assisted treatment, counseling, and care management to support patients on their journey to recovery.
Responsibilities- Complete patient intake, admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
- Document progress through counseling and group interactions.
- Create individualized treatment and psychosocial plans within required time frames.
- Identify clinical/case‑management needs and address them.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient counseling per week.
- Report patient abuse, neglect, exploitation, and grievances as required.
- Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
- Obtain urine drug screens and initial photo identification.
- Monitor patient activities on premises.
- Participate in community relations activities.
- Review and follow the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain required licensure/certification per state regulations.
- Assist in preparation for surveys and inspections (CARF, DEA, etc.).
- Attend staff meetings and support program integrity.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by clinic or corporate leadership.
- Education/Licensure:
Counseling certification in a related field (state‑specific); bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 500 hours in substance abuse; experience in the field preferred but not required. - Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain dependable. - Basic mathematics proficiency.
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and relevant state regulations.
