FLOOR ATTENDANT I - PUBLIC SPACE

The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining public and team member areas in a clean, sanitary, and attractive condition.

The role creates an inviting atmosphere, builds and retains guest relations, and mentors team members to provide superior guest service.

• Provides an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana for gaming entertainment.
• At the start of each shift, reviews the schedule, checks equipment and supplies, and prepares for operations.
• Wipes down all machinery on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
• Inspects and cleans all restrooms.
• Picks up and disposes of paper and other rubbish left by patrons throughout the pavilion.
• At shift end, secures all equipment and machinery and completes all required paperwork.
• Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to Indiana Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

• Attend seminars when needed.

Education and /or Experience Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

• Obtain and maintain all required licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Pass background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Be twenty‑one (21) years of age.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

Knowledge Of:

• Safe use of hazardous materials.
• Basic hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Janitorial duties.

Ability To:

• Work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Review and comprehend documentation.
• Handle hazardous cleaning chemicals and wastes safely.
• Use powered cleaning equipment routinely.
