Micromarket Route Driver

Full time MICROMARKET ROUTE DRIVER positions located at Canteen – 3300 Waterfield Drive, Garner, North Carolina 27529. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Pay range: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, with commission eligibility.

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains micro market and related equipment. The role requires a professional presentation and excellent client relationships. The position offers advancement opportunities and a foundation for entry level management.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded before each route, following operational procedures.
• Inform clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays; issue sales promotion materials.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per District procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform all functions safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience.
• Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service position or 1 year of related experience.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability or willingness to use material handling equipment.
• Must be able to work independently and unsupervised (≈98% of the day).
