SMARTSERVICE ROUTE DRIVER (FULL TIME) at Canteen North America

Location: 3300 Waterfield Drive, Garner, NC 27529. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time;
Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Schedule details will be provided during interview.

Key Requirements: Prior experience in merchandising, handheld use, and driving is required. 3 years of driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently are mandatory.

Drives the company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory, ensuring top‑notch service to clients and customers at all times.

• Pre‑load the truck with all required product before each day’s route.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand carts with totes of product, walk to machines, load the machines, and return with empty totes.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of the job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; report defective equipment to the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform clients of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all client and/or customer complaints to the supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with established procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service position or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
