Kids Quest Director
The Kids Quest Director position is responsible for the discipleship opportunities for children ages birth through 4th grade in a multicampus and growing environment. These opportunities include the worship gatherings on Thursday and Sunday. Other events and short-term fun learning experiences throughout the year will supplement the Thursday and Sunday experiences. The Kids Quest ministry should also provide resources for parents to help them learn how to disciple and take an interest in the spiritual development of their children.
The development of the Kids Quest Team both functionally and spiritually will be an important aspect of the responsibilities of the Kids Quest Director.
Duties include but are necessarily limited to the following:
- Collaborate with our Curriculum Director for development of the discipleship plan used in Kids Quest
- Lead the Kids Quest team in spiritual development
- Develop a unified team atmosphere
- Establish and communicate the vision for Kids Quest in partnership with the Quest Staff team
- Focus on leadership development of other Kids Quest team members
- Identify and equip individuals to perform the necessary functions of the ministry
- Develop systems of communication for the team
- Craft team structure to create an environment of joy and impact for those serving
- Attend all staff meetings
- Work with Quest Students Director for overall discipleship plan for children and youth
- Lead the team to maintain a safe and fun environment for all children
- Work with other volunteers to develop other events beyond Thursday and Sunday to impact and grow the ministry
- Ensure that the ministry follows all expected safety protocols
- Develop and manage a team structure for ongoing multiplication and health
