Overview

Responsible for forging business partnerships to provide analytics and insights into business opportunities and to mitigate risk. Works closely with the business to develop and maintain performance indicators to track process and operational improvements (i.e., growth, new products/customers/ markets penetration, revenue, or expense contributors, etc.). Evaluates capital investments using financial modelling techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with the facilitation of the annual budget process, monthly and quarterly reforecasts, and work with business leaders to determine necessary forecast adjustments and budget needs.
  • Consolidates forecasts and budgets, performing trend / variance and profitability analysis around revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.
  • Develops clear, accurate, and repeatable forecast models by identifying root causes of previous errors and monitoring accuracy and predictive validity of existing models.
  • Prepares financial and business-related templates, analysis, and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, etc.
  • Prepares and maintains reports, graphs, and charts, including KPIs for each business unit.
  • Automates and improves tools, dashboards, and processes for budgeting, planning, reporting, etc.
  • Analyzes, investigates, and audits P&L performance, variances, capital requests, ROI analysis, and ad hoc requests to support cross-functional projects.
  • Issues identification and problem resolution to ensure attainment of commitments and goals.
  • Develops various models and reports to enable financial and operational tracking and improvements including reporting on cost saving initiatives.
  • Maintains and updates company integrated financial model on a regular basis.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience or the knowledge, skills, or abilities to succeed
