Rental Freight Driver

The Opportunity
Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Rental Freight Driver to join our team in Garland, Texas
. In this role, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries to Lonestar’s Service, Sales, and Rentals customers.

• Receive inbound requests from the Freight Coordinator
• Manage documentation relating to equipment transport
• Load and unload equipment onto the transport truck/trailer
• Transport equipment to and from various destinations
• Relay relevant customer feedback to appropriate internal stakeholders
• General vehicle maintenance, including cleaning and inspections
• Ensure that all registrations, insurance, CIVs are current

• High school diploma
• Class A or Class B license and a clean driving history (motor vehicle record check required for employment)
• Minimum of three years driving experience
• Prior experience in the material handling equipment industry is a strong asset, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• A self-starter and a team player

This is an onsite role based in Garland, Texas.
