What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, verifying appointment or load information, issuing badges and/or passes, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Monitor and document inbound and outbound activity using logs and/or electronic systems, including visitor sign‑in, key control, and delivery pickup and drop‑off details per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, staging areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized access and report maintenance and/or hazard observations to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements
  • Security Experience – 1+ Years.
  • 21+ Years of Age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet – preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience – preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
