Caring Transitions of Garland, Texas, is seeking a part‑time Business Development Representative to grow our referral network and generate qualified leads and appointments within a defined territory. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills, a passion for community engagement, and an authentic connection to our mission.

• Experience in the senior services community, such as assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, is preferred, but not necessary
• Identify and develop new referral sources in the Garland area
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required
• Actively contact and follow up with leads by phone, email, and in‑person meetings; local daytime travel required
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with community partners such as assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, real estate professionals, and family‑law or estate attorneys, or any other relevant referral partners
• Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement local growth strategies and quarterly sales objectives
• Utilize branded materials, social media tools, training content, and email campaigns to promote services and increase brand awareness
• Participate in webinars, networking events, and community outreach to stay visible in the market
• Provide regular activity reports and performance updates

• High integrity, honesty, accountability, and ethical standards
• Local community knowledge is inherent or developed
• Networking aptitude
• Sales and marketing experience
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Docs, Sheets
• CRM tools experience preferred
• Willingness to travel locally for meetings and events

• High school diploma (college degree preferred)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Able to work 15-20 hours a week with flexible scheduling
• Must pass a pre‑employment background check
