The Watermere Firewheel is a luxury independent living community located in Garland, Texas. Get paid DAILY with Zay Zoon (access up to 50% of earned wages).

Server / Waitstaff, Full-Time

• Provide exceptional customer table service to residents, guests, and employees in the dining room.
• Set up dining area properly and fold dining room linens.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service; stay knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
• Take and write orders on the check; ensure both the diner and the Dining Room Supervisor receive copies. Use the POS (full Count) system accurately.
• Relay orders to the kitchen, serve beverages and courses from kitchen and/or buffet station; pace course delivery to ensure correct temperatures and a relaxed dining pace.
• Refresh beverages and keep water replenished throughout the meal service.
• Clear and reset counters and/or tables after each course; maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations.

• High school education or equivalent (GED accepted).
• Effective communication in English; ability to read, write, and follow production and preparation sheets.
• Maintains required food handler certifications.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service active adult/senior living preferred.
• Understand food measurements and equivalents; willing to work with active/senior adults.
• Must be able to work weekends.
