Slide Attendant – Hawaiian Waters, Garland

Position Type: Seasonal | Pay: $10.00/hr up to $11.00 | Safety‑Sensitive: Yes

Under direct supervision, the Slide Attendant ensures guest and employee safety by operating waterslides, communicating ride requirements, and enforcing park rules. This role includes providing customer service, assisting with park maintenance tasks like trash collection and bathroom upkeep, and participating in training. No prior experience is required—free CPR and Basic Life Support Certification is provided to successful applicants.

• Operate aquatic attractions and enforce ride requirements to ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and follow established protocols.
• Enforce park policies and address unsafe guest behavior.
• Provide excellent guest service, answer inquiries, and educate visitors on park rules.
• Assist with trash collection, restroom upkeep, and park beautification efforts.
• Participate in a minimum of two hours of monthly training to maintain skills.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.

• Minimum age: 16
• CPR and Ellis & Associates Basic Life Support Certification (provided free to successful applicants)
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions

• Ability to climb stairs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks like lifting, kneeling, and bending
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Specific vision requirements: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
