Your Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and create personalized care plans
  • Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, depending on your credentialing
  • Provide education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
  • Prescribe various medications and therapies within the established scope of practice
  • Engage in patient follow‑up and oversee chronic care management
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver continuous, coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records through electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Needed Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant equivalent
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to secure within 90 days)
