About the Role:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing the master production schedule across multiple upstream manufacturing lines that supply downstream assembly operations. This role ensures that material flow, capacity planning, and production sequencing are aligned across all sites to support on time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and uninterrupted assembly operations. The Master Scheduler serves as the central planning hub between Production, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Assembly teams.
- Build and maintain a synchronized master production schedule across all upstream manufacturing lines.
- Align upstream output with downstream assembly requirements, takt times, and customer demand.
- Balance capacity, labor, equipment availability, and material constraints across multiple sites.
- Adjust schedules proactively based on demand changes, supply disruptions, or operational constraints.
- Ensure upstream production cadence supports downstream throughput and minimizes bottlenecks.
- Analyze capacity constraints across multiple facilities and recommend load balancing strategies.
- Support standardization of scheduling processes across all sites.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Epicor, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or planning software capabilities.
- Understanding capacity planning, material flow, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, takt time, and flow-based production principles.
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration abilities.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, multi-site environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field
- Experience supporting multi site or multi state operations
- Background in environments with upstream manufacturing feeding downstream
- Prolonged periods standing on the manufacturing floor and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to thirty-five pounds at times.
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
