Overview
Conner Industries, Inc. is a dynamic and expanding company in the industrial lumber, custom wood packaging, and integrated packaging sectors. The company operates 17 manufacturing facilities and holds a leading market position.
Responsibilities- Assembling pallets and crates, cutting and stacking lumber.
- Check components for quality and read and interpret job orders.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record and work in a team environment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment, including housekeeping for yourself and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with air tools including nail guns and other manufacturing tools.
- Able to read and interpret job orders and use a standard and/or metric tape measure.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
- Able to apply basic mathematical concepts and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to make limited and independent judgments.
- Able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Stand for extended periods. Repetitive motions required. Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close and peripheral vision and focus.
Work EnvironmentIndoor and partial outdoor manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels. PPE required. Weather may be a factor. Lunches and breaks are regulated.
Base Pay Range$35,000.00/yr - $41,000.00/yr
Pay: $17-$20/hour DOE
