Payroll, Technology & Compliance Manager Build the Backbone of a High-Performing Organization

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll leader who thrives at the intersection of payroll operations, technology, and compliance
. In this role, you’ll do far more than process payroll—you’ll own it, improve it, and lead a team that ensures accuracy, accountability, and trust across the organization.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Lead and oversee weekly, in-house payroll processing with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and approve wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and labor allocations
  • Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and benefits updates
  • Ensure proper handling of garnishments, tax levies, and mandatory deductions
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Prepare, file, and remit payroll tax filings and payments
  • Oversee prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance
  • Serve as the payroll system owner and CMiC subject-matter expert
  • Troubleshoot payroll system issues and resolve complex discrepancies
  • Lead, train, and develop payroll staff while promoting accountability and collaboration
  • Drive process improvements and support broader organizational initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle, in-house payroll
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and mentor
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations
  • High technical aptitude;
    CMiC experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional discretion with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and ownership
