MANAGER IN TRAINING

Join SPEC Building Materials Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of building materials and equipment for both commercial and residential roofing contractors. Since 1973, SPEC has grown to 35 convenient branch locations across the Midwest, South, and Southeast.

We are looking for team leaders who want to run a business as if it were their own. The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to let the associate learn every segment of our business and culture. After successful completion of the training, the candidate has the opportunity to manage their own branch.

• Preferably a 4‑year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business or related field.
• Two years of industry experience in building materials or related industry.
• Business‑oriented, self‑motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with enthusiasm for our business.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Analytical and able to solve problems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ethical, honest, and dependable.
• Current state‑issued driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Legally entitled to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a company‑required drug test.
• Ability to read, speak, and write the English language fluently.

Job Type: Full‑time, Regular

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Shift: Day shift

Work Location: 3615 Miller Park Dr., Garland, Texas (In person)
