The Management Trainee, Home Improvement, partners with the leadership team to complete a twelve-month training program focused on a specific track. The candidate will learn all aspects of the Home Improvement business relevant to their track during this period. Successful completion of assessments, manager evaluations, and knowledge-based tests is required to progress. The trainee must demonstrate leadership competencies and proficiency in job assignments to potentially assume a salaried manager role at the end of the program.

Job Requirements
  • Graduated from college this year or will graduate by December 2016
  • AA or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Project Management
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) to engage associates, managers, and customers
  • Project management, organizational, and time management skills; ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate energy in new opportunities and processes
  • Remain productive and composed under pressure or stress
  • Ability to lift and carry products as required; occasional lifting of sample cases up to 40 lbs.
  • Understand the importance of initiatives and prioritize effectively
  • Represent the company professionally in line with the Code of Conduct and Ethical Business practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
