Ride Share Carz is a fast-growing provider of car rental solutions designed for gig economy workers such as rideshare and delivery drivers. We are seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our on site team in Garland, TX. As Ride Share Carz continues to scale, the AP Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely vendor payments, and supporting both our finance and operations departments.
This role directly contributes to our commitment to operational excellence, financial accuracy, and strong vendor relationships.
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding, approval routing, and compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain the AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively.
- Monitor AP aging reports and ensure all payables are current, accurate, and supported by required documentation.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams to verify receipts, resolve billing issues, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain organized digital documentation of invoices, receipts, contracts, and payment confirmations.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and AP reporting.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and documentation requests.
- Collect and maintain vendor W 9s and assist with 1099 reporting as needed.
- Manage corporate credit card expense submissions, including reviewing receipts, validating coding, ensuring policy compliance, and reconciling monthly card statements (Ramp experience preferred).
- Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Basic experience with Quick Books Online.
- Basic experience with Ramp or similar card management platforms.

- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1 hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. - Pay:
Hourly, $24.00 – $28.50 based on experience and qualifications.
