QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- Master's degree in a related subject area
- Doctoral Degree, preferred
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education, preferred
- Valid Texas Administrator Certification
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a classroom teacher in Special Education OR three (3) years as Campus Principal in a PK-12 public school
- Some experience leading and supervising a special education program, and experience in a leadership role at the District or State level, preferred
