Position: FOH Assistant Garden Centre (Wkends)

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Weekend Front of House Assistant to join our team in our Restaurant in Garforth Garden Centre. Competitive rate of pay ranges from £10 to £12.25 per hour, dependent on age. This Fatal weekend role only, 14 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday).

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders, serve our fantastic food and drinks to customers, and work closely with FOH and kitchen teams to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Responsibilities dose

Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards

Present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions

Provide counter service and prepare beverages

Deliver our Chef‑prepared meals to customers at their tables

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness

Process payment at electronic till points

Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed

Close front of house areas each day to our company standards

May be required to assist with back of house duties

Qualifications

Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
Barista experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Great teamwork
Hardworking
Shift flexibility including weekends
The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
