RN Unit Manager – Night Shift (11p–7a)

The Villas at Marymount is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our night shift clinical team. This role oversees the delivery of high quality nursing care on a skilled nursing unit, ensuring resident safety, regulatory compliance, and strong team coordination during overnight hours. Candidates must have prior skilled nursing experience and a proven ability to lead with confidence, compassion, and clinical expertise.

• Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight to night shift nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs).
• Ensure safe, effective, and timely delivery of resident care in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident conditions, address concerns, and ensure care plans are followed.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and overnight transitions of care.
• Respond promptly to changes in resident status and coordinate with providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Support staff performance through coaching, problem solving, and promoting a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as the onsite clinical leader during overnight hours, escalating issues appropriately to administration or oncall leadership.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (required).
• Skilled nursing/longterm care experience required
  ; leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and regulatory requirements for skilled nursing facilities.

• Fulltime Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
