CBHC ESP Overnight Counselor, Gardner at Clinical & Support Options, Inc.
Join CSO as an overnight counselor in our CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Clinic) Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Gardner. The program offers 24‑hour behavioral health assessments, intervention and stabilization for youth, families and adults, and includes daily assessments, brief counseling, case management, nursing support and peer support.
Start salary
: $38,000‑$44,000/year (plus premium shift pay for overnight shifts).
- Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling and safety for clients using the program.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including self‑care, cooking, recreation, medication administration and documentation per treatment plans and shift procedures.
- Act as an active member of the Treatment Team day‑to‑day, monitoring respite clients with hourly bed checks, closer observation when needed.
- Answer and direct crisis telephone calls as established.
- Prepare daily evening meal for clients and staff when working evening shift.
- Present cases to insurance companies and obtain prior approvals as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience working with similar populations.
- High school diploma or associate’s degree may substitute for 5 years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
