CSO is looking for a Senior Family Support Clinician to provide In-Home Therapy (IHT) to children and families.
This role is ideal for experienced or newly graduated Clinicians.
This position will provide a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship for children and their families in natural family settings such as home or school in collaboration with a paraprofessional who provides family support and training as part of the clinician’s treatment plan (serving as either the hub of a family’s services or as part of an Intensive Care Coordination care plan).
Starting Salary: $50,000-$63,000/year
Responsibilities- Begin initial assessment for all referrals within 24 hours of referral, including a mental status and risk assessment of the referred child and family situation.
- Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with families, children and other supports and providers.
- Assist caregivers in stabilizing the behavior of children and adolescents, including the development of Risk Management Plans and facilitating the involvement of Crisis Services when required.
- Work collaboratively with the Family Support paraprofessional. Be a collaborative provider to the family and the family’s wrap‑around team supports and providers.
- Maintain regular and required communication with Mass Health MCE’s and commercial insurance providers.
- Follow standard procedures as defined in the specifications for In‑Home Therapy and/or Family‑Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) under the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative.
- Meet and maintain expected productivity level at 107 billable hours monthly (321 billable hours quarterly) for 1.0 FTE (full‑time equivalency).
- Provide transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines.
- Be available to work flexible schedule which will include some evening and weekend work, as required by client needs.
- Master’s Degree in a mental health field
- Experience working with children and families (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
