Compensation: $24/hr

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

Responsible for daily operational and electronic bank services while ensuring that all work is processed within the appropriate time frames and according to regulations and policies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform back-end processing of wire transfers, including verification, posting, exception handling, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and review online account opening requests, ensuring proper documentation, identity verification, and timely onboarding of new accounts.
  • Initiate and process ACH origination files, monitor for exceptions, and ensure compliance with NACHA rules and internal policies.
  • Participate in fraud prevention activities, including transaction monitoring, identifying suspicious activity, and assisting with investigations and reporting.
  • Handle internal and external member calls; troubleshoot accounts and electronic banking service inquiries
  • Provide assistance for and perform activities to maintain Online Banking/Mobile Banking;
    Bill Payment;
    Remote Deposit Capture;
    Online Account Opening; ODP; debit questions; disputes and account corrections
  • Process ACH and Check in-clearing; electronic payments; address/return mail and verification; IRAs
  • Complete levies/research/subpoenas/deposit verifications
  • Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities
  • Models and promotes the behaviors of the Credit Union’s core values, actively works to enhance the member and employee experience throughout the Credit Union
  • Participates in the Credit Union’s Community/Civic Engagement Program which requires participation in at least one community event each calendar year.
  • Act as a role model for staff by completing tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrates a commitment to learning by cross training on other functions as required.
  • Participates, completes and attends mandatory training and/or online assignment for regulatory compliance.
  • Adheres and complies with Credit Union and regulatory agencies (i.e. NCUA, State, Federal) policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years related work experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and the ability to work independently
