Potential Adjunct Faculty

Application submission to the part-time adjunct faculty pool is open to qualified and competent experts who possess skills, education, and experience in academic and/or professional areas.

All part-time faculty are responsible for providing our students with a high-quality learning environment, while utilizing their focused expertise and experience in their classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms.

Adjunct Faculty postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited positions during the  /  academic years.

Applications for adjunct positions will be held in applicant pools by discipline and consulted when a position opens in that discipline. Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless contacted to come in for an interview.

• Instruction in traditional and non-traditional learning modes; instructional preparation
• Prepare student clinical assignments
• Supervise students in clinical settings
• Evaluate students
• Correct clinical papers
• Demonstrate procedures and patient care in nursing settings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensure as an RN in Massachusetts
• Minimum of two years full-time nursing experience or equivalent, including at least one year in nursing home settings
• Minimum of one year experience in lesson planning, lesson delivery, student evaluation and remediation in a role such as in-service coordinator or staff education in a healthcare setting
• Complete a minimum of 24 Board of Registration in Nursing approved continuing education hours in curriculum development, teaching adult learners, and student evaluation

Desired Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing

Salary determined by class being taught.

Adjunct Instructor – 4 Credit Lab $6,259.00-$7,562.00

HEA
116 Clinical – $82.72-$99.92 per hour
