Interdisciplinary-Adjunct Faculty (Pool). Location options include Gardner and Leominster, MA. Classification:
Adjunct. Position . This is a part-time adjunct pool position for the and academic years.
Potential Adjunct Faculty:
Applications to the part-time adjunct faculty pool are open to qualified experts who possess skills, education, and experience in academic and/or professional areas. All part-time faculty are responsible for providing students with a high-quality learning environment using their focused expertise in in-person classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms. Applications for adjunct positions will be held in applicant pools by discipline, and when a position opens up in any given discipline, candidates will be considered.
Applicants may not be notified of status unless contacted to interview, which might occur soon after applying or as much as a year later. Applicants are encouraged to indicate availability by completing the Adjunct Faculty Questionnaire.
- Instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes; instructional preparation
- Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion
- Be available to students by appointment when mutually convenient
- Not more than one faculty meeting per session
- Other duties as required
- Masters degree with a major in the course content area
- Evidence of competence in the area of instruction
- Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities
- 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college
