Heywood Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our established primary care team at Athol Primary Care. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a supportive, community-based practice with a focus on work/life balance, team-based care, and sustainable schedules.
Practice HighlightsOutpatient Internal Medicine with continuity of care
Current team includes 2 physicians and 2 APPs, with a supportive and collaborative environment
1:1 provider-to-MA or nurse model, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
Athena EMR system
Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and the community
Flexible scheduling options (4- or 5-day workweek)
Predictable clinic hours with minimal administrative burden
Emphasis on sustainable workflow to support physician satisfaction and longevity
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
