Certified Rover Security Guards provide essential security coverage at multiple job sites and adapt to diverse environments and operational needs. This position requires flexibility, with shifts that may include day, swing, or graveyard hours and weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of assigned job sites to deter unauthorized access, prevent theft, vandalism, and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
Monitor access points, verify identification, and enforce security protocols to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms or other security-related incidents, investigate and take appropriate actions as per company policies and procedures.
Document all security-related incidents, accidents, and violations in detailed reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols, assist in evacuations, and provide assistance during emergency situations.
Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems, identifying suspicious activities and taking necessary actions to address potential threats.
Interact with clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance, guidance, and excellent customer service.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws, reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
Conduct security patrols using company-provided vehicles, inspecting parking lots, perimeter fences, and other areas as directed.
Perform routine checks and inspections on security equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Coordinate with fellow security guards, supervisors, and site managers to share information, provide support, and ensure a cohesive security team.
Participate in training programs, stay updated on security best practices, and maintain a high level of professional competence.
Requirements:
Must possess a current and valid guard card issued by the appropriate state regulatory agency.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a car or reliable transportation to commute to different job sites.
Must be available to work seven days a week, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts (day/swing/graveyard).
Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods, and lift or move objects as necessary.
High ethical standards, trustworthiness, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and visitors.
Demonstrated ability to assess situations, make quick decisions, and take appropriate actions in a fast-paced environment.
Keen observation skills and the ability to detect and report irregularities or suspicious behavior.
