Electrical Engineer – Production Support Job Description
- Serve as the primary engineering representative at the supplier’s, motor, and launch controller assembly manufacturing.
- Monitor day to day production activities, build status, and delivery schedules.
- Identify risks to schedule or quality and drive timely resolutions.
- Verify supplier compliance with aerospace standards.
- Monitor build progress, test yields, rework cycles, and process adherence.
- Review and validate manufacturing documentation including travelers, test reports, and inspection records.
- Track production milestones, identify blockers, and support recovery plans.
- Collaborate with supplier operations, manufacturing engineering, quality, and procurement.
- Provide daily or weekly status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Escalate technical risks early with clear impact assessments.
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with supplier personnel.
