Assembly Supervisor

Position Summary:

1st shift:
Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for the day to day assembly operations ensuring products are manufactured safely, on time and to quality standards. This role supports production goals through efficient labor utilization and continuous improvement efforts.

• Oversee employee’s day to day activities, delegating work as appropriate to ensure timely completion of production schedules while meeting labor cost goals
• Assign and prioritize work, balancing staffing and workload to support production goals
• Monitor production performance, KPI metrics; escalating concerns as needed
• Reinforce expectations for safety, quality and performance through regular feedback and guidance
• Ensure all products adhere to high quality standards
• Oversees training of current and new workers in assembly function
• Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to address defects, rework and process improvements
• Responsible for safe work risk management, ensuring safety policies are followed and completing timely workplace incident reports as necessary
• Support Lean initiatives such as 5S, standard work updates, and waste reduction efforts

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience manufacturing/wood assembly environment
• Bilingual English & Spanish
• Strong communication skills

Preferred

• 1+ year Supervisor experience
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
