Location: Gardena, CA

Start date: ASAP

Pay rate: $45-$50 per hour

Job Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. The LCSW works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support patients’ emotional, psychological, and social well-being while ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (individual, group, and family therapy)
  • Diagnose mental health conditions in accordance with DSM-5 guidelines
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning
  • Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources and support services
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing laws, HIPAA, and organizational policies
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision, and continuing education
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
  • Minimum 1–2 years of post-licensure clinical experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
