Responsibilities- Perform meticulous time studies and gather crucial operational data directly from customer manufacturing floors.
- Analyze value streams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and prime opportunities for AI-driven automation.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers to develop robust cost‑benefit analyses and compelling ROI models for automation solutions.
- Translate complex findings into clear, impactful visualizations and present them confidently to internal teams and key external stakeholders.
- Travel extensively (approximately 70% of the time) to various customer sites across the U.S., gaining diverse industry exposure.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing analytics, or process optimization.
- Familiarity with time study methodologies (e.g., MODAPTS) and value stream mapping.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Splunk, or other BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (~70%) and thrive in dynamic environments.
- Must have work authorization in the United States.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automation technologies or working in robotics/startup environments.
This role involves traveling to customer sites across the Midwest and East Coast approximately 70% of the time. You will assess and analyze specific segments of the manufacturing line over a 3‑5 day period. After gathering data on‑site, you will return home to conduct in‑depth analysis before moving on to the next client.
