Schedule:
Weekdays during the school day
Hours:
9-12 hours per week, with the possibility of 15+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.
- $23 per hour standard
- $24 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
- $25 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
- Tutor K-5th grade students in ELA/Math.
- Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
- Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
- Must meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
- Provide 3 professional references
- Minimum of 60 college credits
- At least one year of student-related experience
- Detail-oriented and highly dependable
- Effective communicator
- Reliable transportation
- Provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
