Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-site)

Pay: Up to $24/hour (may pay more based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Accounting Department, with a focus on updating files, managing accounts receivable (AR), and performing data entry tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to maintain accuracy while handling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain accounting files and records
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks and invoice processing
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized documentation
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to support daily operations
• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts and reports

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and able to start immediately
