Job OverviewCome join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will be passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality specifications.
As a Cook, you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift.
You will also be preparing food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs.

- Responsible for the preparation of food items. You should feel proud of each item you prepare.
- Kitchen is well designed with large working areas. Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill and Make Up along, with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of surroundings.
- Work as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery.
- Committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift.
- Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs with further direction from Management.
- Practicing food safety and sanitation, restocking kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.; able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time while performing essential job duties.
- Vision abilities to include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus.
