The Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our busy multi-doctor practice located in Garden Grove. Being a CSR in our office takes a special kind of person who is able to deal with both humans and animals alike. Applicants must have great communication skills, be friendly, outgoing, and have a true love for animals.

The right candidate will have the following qualities: be energetic, positive, take initiative, team player, able to multi-task, punctual, accountable, willing to teach others and share ideas, excellent communication skills, professional and caring when dealing with patients/clients, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Responsibilities- Greeting clients
- Data entry
- Processing payments
- Reviewing treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients
- Filling prescriptions
- Keeping the lobby and receptionist area clean
- Communicating with waiting clients
- Answering telephone calls
- Maintaining a positive attitude
Four shifts per week including three weekday shifts and one weekend shift, 36 hours per week.
Experience and Skills Requirements- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail (spelling, capitalization, correct phone numbers, etc.)
- Previous veterinary experience or working as a receptionist is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate from $18-20/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
