Job Summary:
The Repair Technician provides service and repair of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic equipment in accordance with the current technical data. It requires technical knowledge, expertise, effective diagnostic, repair and testing techniques related to a wide variety of equipment. Summary of Duties:
- Performs skilled technician work that involves diagnosis, replacement, cleaning, repair and rebuilding a variety of equipment, components and/or systems.
- Uses diagnostic and test equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.
- Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.
- Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
- Makes computer entries and completes various types of paperwork maintenance documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
- Follows industry/government specific guidelines, particularly as they relate to safety, health and environmental practices.
- Assists with research and development of new repair capabilities; this will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off site training.
- Assists with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.
- Maintains an organized workstation and shop floor in accordance with 5S standards in place.

The expected salary range for this position is between $29.60 - $32.89 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Level 3 or Higher — High School diploma or 2-year technical degree (preferred). - Experience:

Excellent electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills; strong attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; capacity to handle stress diplomatically; clear English communication; strong knowledge of Aviation Maintenance; ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and drawings; ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, etc.); ability to use electrical measuring equipment (multimeters, temperature gauges);
