PositionSummary
As our Quality Control Inspector
, you are a critical part of the team responsible for ensuring our products meet rigorous aerospace and defense standards. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections of components, in-process assemblies, and final products. This role involves verifying that all dimensions, tolerances, and materials adhere to client drawings and AS9100 specifications with precision. You will work closely with the production team to identify and document any non-conformances, helping to maintain our zero-defect quality culture.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations.
- 1-3 years of inspection experience in a high-reliability manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, or medical is highly preferred).
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications are strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Proficient in using standard inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Strong understanding of AS9100/ISO
9001 quality system principles. - Good English communication skills (reading and writing) and basic computer proficiency.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Perform Incoming (IQC), In-Process (IPQC), and Final (FQC) inspections on raw materials, components, and finished cable/harness assemblies.
- Verify and document that products meet all requirements from drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Support the First Article Inspection (AS9102) process by accurately gathering and recording data as directed.
- Identify, document, and segregate all non-conforming material (NCR) for the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Collaborate with the production team to provide real-time feedback on quality issues found during in-process checks.
- Accurately use and maintain all inspection equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and in calibration.
- Maintain meticulous records of all inspections, test results, and non-conformances in the QMS.
- Champion and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
