As a Team Lead, you will guide a team toward achieving operational goals while fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for team members in your dedicated zone and provide the necessary support to ensure zonal goals are met.

• Team Leadership: Direct daily activities, provide clear goals (SQDC) and regular feedback to team members to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Resource Allocation: Oversee zonal allocation, ensure proper people allocations in each workstation and elevate gaps.
• Mentorship and Development: Support the supervisor in identifying training needs and coach for professional growth.
• Performance Monitoring: Track performance against key metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Communication: Act as liaison between the team and management, ensuring transparent communication of progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Continuous Improvement Culture: View the production line as a living system that requires awareness, iteration, and effort to improve over time.
• Product and Production Fundamentals: Understand takt, operator and equipment cycle time, downtime tracking, escalation, safety and quality issue escalation protocol, waste elimination and continuous improvement.
• Zone Objectives:
  • Run 5‑minute start‑of‑shift huddle (output, goals, safety issues, 5S).
  • Respond and elevate issues per criticality to the supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain 5S‑Safety at the highest standard in your zone and in the General Assembly area.

• High school diploma or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant field (General Assembly/EV preferred).
• Driven individual with good understanding of vehicle assembly and ability to learn and train an operations team in multiple build stations and cells.
• Proven leadership or prior team lead/supervisory experience (preferably 1+ years).
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Record of repeated strong performance and positive peer feedback.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
