This position reports to leadership and is responsible for leading and elevating the Radiologic Technology program to ensure strong academics, full accreditation compliance, high-quality theory and clinical training, and successful student outcomes.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations and long-term strategic planning of the Radiologic Technology Program
- Drive compliance with JRCERT and other accrediting bodies, including self-study, reaccreditation processes, annual reports, self studies, and responses
- Promote and enforce safety and compliance standards in labs and clinical environments
- Monitor and validate that faculty provide active, engaging learning experiences in a respectful environment focused on student outcomes
- Support curriculum development, review student learning outcomes, and align program content with evolving industry standards
- Mentor and advise students, prepare them for the ARRT exam, and support professional growth
- Maintain systematic program evaluation—tracking retention, completion, placement, and exam passage rates
- Participate in budget planning, oversee expenditures, and recommend equipment, lab enhancements, and supplies management
- Maintain relationships with clinical affiliates, advisory boards, local schools, and healthcare organizations
- Participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities (e.g., CEUs where required by law)
- Review and ensure accurate and timely course, student, and faculty scheduling
- Engage in the local professional community to enhance student opportunities and professional networks
- Provide instruction in both the Clinical and Didactic aspects of the program
- Deliver class objectives clearly, evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support student success
- Identify at-risk students and create individualized success plans to mitigate attrition
- Foster relationships with students to meet program competency requirements
- Maintain regular interaction with online course components and keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress
- Lead a high-performance team of staff through training, performance management, and career development
- Recognize and reward employee contributions and achievements

- Valid state issued driver’s license (required)
- ARRT certification or registration credential (required)
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
- Masters Degree in any subject (required)
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership/management experience (required)
- Curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and counseling
- Assessing instructors’ competence and effectiveness
- Project management and independent task handling
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication
- Facilitation of training sessions and cross-functional meetings
- Ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Use of enterprise tools and systems to streamline processes
- People development and stakeholder relationship skills
- Navigate complex policies and organizational dynamics
- Adaptability in uncertainty and ambiguity
- Independent work with escalation of high-impact issues
- Able and willing to communicate, think, learn, and reason; use computers to process information
- Safely operate on-site at Company locations
- Active listening, information ordering, and flexible thinking
- Good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to travel locally as needed
- Typically 80%+ of workday: hearing, sight; direct instruction to faculty and students
- Up to 50%: use of fine motor skills for computers and equipment
- Less than 20%: lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance; bending and lab demonstrations
- Travel to local worksites as needed; driving a vehicle may be required
