Technical Training Specialist – Aerospace Manufacturing
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Technical Training Specialist with deep expertise in aerospace or advanced manufacturing to help elevate the technical abilities of our operations team.
In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deliver high‑impact technical training programs that support employee growth, onboarding, and operational excellence. If you’re passionate about teaching complex engineering concepts in a practical, hands‑on way, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities- Build and deliver site‑specific technical training programs, complete with curriculum, lesson plans, hands‑on exercises, and assessments.
- Translate engineering and manufacturing processes into training that resonates with operators, technicians, apprentices, and other technical roles.
- Lead classroom instruction, hands‑on demos, and on‑the‑job training activities.
- Guide new hires through technical onboarding and support them throughout their probationary period.
- Coordinate training schedules, documentation, and completion tracking.
- Maintain and improve training materials, learning environments, and digital media.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, HR, and Quality to ensure training aligns with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering (or related).
- 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience designing and delivering technical training (classroom and hands‑on).
- Experience developing or managing training centers or structured learning environments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of aerospace or advanced manufacturing processes.
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital training tools.
- Aerospace, defense, or precision‑manufacturing background.
- Experience in change management or program implementation.
