About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the dynamic team at Glassons Carindale or Garden City. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the store's performance and supporting the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing- Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the retail team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Provide hands-on support in all areas of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive brand experience for all customers
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and implement strategies to drive sales and enhance store performance
- Assist with the training and development of store team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure the store maintains high standards of presentation, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or assistant management role, preferably within the fashion industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience
- Proficient in inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
