Unit L&D/PP/MB- SCG.

• L&D Beds 12 LDRP rooms.
• OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 1.
• Triage beds 1.
• Postpartum beds 12 LDRP rooms.
• Births per day? 1.5/day 50-60/month.
• Follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? Yes.

• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  ACLS, NRP, BLS.
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients.
• Experience or Must have skills: LDRP experience, couplet care, circulate in OR.
• Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes, pitocin.
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips see above.
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? The charge nurse typically has an assignment.
• Are there nurse aides/surgical techs on this unit? 1 Surgical tech.
• OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? Not in house.
• Anesthesia in house 24/7? Not in house.
• RT Equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, etc):
  No.
• Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? RNs read strips? No, adult telemetry.
• Fetal monitoring is required.
• EFM System GE and OBIX.
• Shifts & Scheduling:
  Fill current holes then can group or separate shifts depending on preference.
• Weekend Requirements: every other.
• Holiday Requirements:
  No.
