Job description:
Operations Manager – Ophthalmology Practice
- Lead daily clinic operations to maintain patient flow, access, and service quality.
- Manage physician schedules and templates to optimize utilization and testing flow.
- Oversee HR functions including staffing, onboarding, training, performance management, and compliance.
- Resolve operational and staffing issues in real time.
- Coordinate facilities, diagnostic equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Set expectations, track performance, and promote accountability across teams.
This is a high-impact leadership position with direct responsibility for operational performance, staff engagement, and patient experience in a growing ophthalmology practice.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field).
- Experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or specialty medical practice operations strongly preferred.
- Prior people-management or HR experience in healthcare.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-care environment.
