The Family Resiliency Education Coordinator (FREC), guided by the Family Resiliency Education Supervisor, will play a key role in advancing the mission and goals of the Family Strengthening Education Program (FSEP). Through courses, workshops, groups, and community events, the FREC will help families build on their existing strengths, celebrate resilience, and expand opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities- Collaborate:
Collaborates with the Youth Development Coordinator (YDC) and volunteers to organize inclusive, family-centered events that foster continuity and connection across groups, with a focus on empowering adult participants. - Network & Engage Community Partners:
Will network and seek out subject matter experts to enhance FSEP Programing. Works with Community Partners in many capacities to enhance strengthening our community of diverse families. - Innovative Facilitator:
Ensures curriculum is rooted in research and enriched by the expertise of co-facilitators and subject matter specialists, creating engaging and practical learning experiences. Will demonstrate flexibility in delivery to meet the needs of different cohort groups. - Data:
Collects and organizes program data to highlight successes, measure impact, and share meaningful outcomes with the community and stakeholders. - Strength Builder:
Encourages community involvement and amplifies the voices of participants, recognizing the assets they bring to the program.
